Physicians from Morrill County Hospital Clinics will be coming to Bayard Public Schools to do sports physicals! This is a great opportunity for all athletes and incoming 7th graders to have their physicals completed. This will take place during school hours for students who have returned their signed physical form. Physical forms were sent home with your child but an extra copy can be picked up in the high school office from Mr. Nesbitt, at the elementary from Nurse Jobman, or you can access it on the Bayard school website. The history portion of the form must be completed and signed by both a parent and the student prior to May 6th. Parents do not need to be present if the student has a signed consent form. If any immunizations are needed, they will need to be done at another time.
Incoming 7th Graders, 2024-2024 School Year
In the state of Nebraska, all 7th graders are required to have a physical completed prior to school starting in the fall regardless if you choose to participate in sports or not. These free sports physicals will be accepted by Bayard Public Schools for the state required physicals. You will also need to submit an updated immunization record providing evidence of receiving a booster dose of tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis (Tdap) vaccine.
