Winter Activities Attendance Changes and Clarifications

As we continue to try to make opportunities available for students to participate in extra-curricular activities, the winter sports season will bring continued changes. First, all NSAA activities will require spectators to wear masks. Most schools (including ours) will not be offering concessions. The current directed health measure (DHM) also greatly restricts attendance at indoor functions. As a result, for at least the rest of the semester, attendance at activities will be either closed to spectators or limited to household members of participants along with people working to host the event.
As a general rule, two household members per participant will be allowed at games. Participants will submit names to the school, and those names will then be placed on a list of authorized attendees for ball games.
If you are not a household member but are interested in supporting our athletes, there are a variety of hosting roles that are needed from time to time. These include ticket-taking, sanitizing equipment, clock operation, etc. Although many of these are already being performed by regular volunteers, you are invited to contact Mr. James Miller to inquire about opportunities to help.
