NOTICE OF EARLY DISMISSAL
Teacher Professional Development – Assessment & Data Analysis
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Bayard Public Schools is committed to providing exceptional educational experiences that support every student’s growth. To continue strengthening instruction across our district, our staff will participate in a professional development session focused on improving assessment practices and effectively using student data to guide learning.
As a result, there will be an early dismissal on:
📅 Wednesday, December 3, 2025
🕐 Students will dismiss at 12:30 PM
During this training, teachers will:
- Review district and state assessment tools
- Learn how to efficiently access and interpret student data
- Plan instructional supports using data to improve student learning
- Prepare for second semester with a stronger data-driven approach
We understand that modifying the school schedule can create challenges for families. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and greatly appreciate your flexibility and support. This learning opportunity for our staff will directly benefit our students in the classroom.
Transportation will run on the adjusted schedule, there will be no Pathfinders this day however after school practices will continue as planned unless otherwise communicated.
