School/Sports Physicals Information for the 2023-24 School Year

The State of Nebraska requires that students in grades 7-12 have a current physical prior to participating in any NSAA sanctioned activity.  In May, Bayard Public Schools offered a free physical day so most of our students have gotten their physicals for next school year.  However, if your student was unable to attend, there is another opportunity to obtain a free physical offered by Regional West Gering Office on June 22 (please see below) and at the Regional West Medical Physicians Clinic on July 19 from 5-8pm.

Additionally, incoming Kindergarten and 7th grade students must receive their recommended immunizations and Kindergarten students must have an eye exam prior to beginning the school year.
