Nebraska Broadband Internet Project

Do you have broadband internet access where you live? Can you even get broadband internet where you live?

Nebraska is working on bringing high-speed internet to all homes and businesses through the BEAD funds.

The next step in this process is the challenge period. NBO is asking for everyone in Nebraska to get involved by reviewing their address on the Nebraska Broadband Availability Map. If the information is incorrect, reach out to Jenny Gier at Bayard Public Schools and she will help you gather the evidence you need to submit a challenge and connect you with an advocate - or you can click on the link below and reach out to an advocate directly.  We have until APRIL 14, 2024 to submit any challenges to the availability map.  If the map says that you should have broadband access but that is NOT true, contact me and we will work to get your location added the list of locations that need access.

You can also find a list of advocates on the website who can help you submit a challenge if needed. Check out the step-by-step guide on the NBO website for more information. Let's work together to ensure everyone has access to high-speed internet in Nebraska!
