Miss Scottsbluff
Miss Scottsbluff inspires students
By Liz Marker
Last week Brianna Little, reigning Miss Scottsbluff, came to Bayard Elementary school to discuss some very important lessons with the students. She spoke about the importance of being kind to others. Little is also putting on a fundraiser called the “Coins for Kids”. Any spare change that you can find will be donated to the Children Miracle Network. The school that raises the most money will be rewarded with a pizza party and a trip to the Midwest theater. A sixth grader, Dani Harter, learned a lot from this assembly. Harter explains, “Being kind can take you very far in anything that you do.” She had many great demonstrations that made the students realize the importance of kindness. “I enjoyed watching her demonstration. It really made it easy to realize what being kind truly means.”, says Harter. Little has a connection to Bayard because her father, Brandon Little, graduated from Bayard High School. In June, Little will also be competing for Miss Nebraska.
