Bayard Federation wrestlers competed at the NEUSA District 1 tournament held on Sunday in Bridgeport. The club had 19 wrestlers compete and placed 5th out of 20 teams. There were 14 wrestlers that placed in the top 4 of their bracket and qualified for the State tournament. The State tournament will be held on March 17th and 18th in Grand Island.
District Champions: Andrew Miller, Wyatt Edmunds, and Kolby Houchin
District Runner-Up: Deryn Wood, Aiden Schultz, Brock Burry, and Nathaniel Barker
3rd place: Christopher Leonard, Cade Armstrong, Brayen Gonzalez Trejo, Theron Miller, and Denton Premus
4th place: Coy Armstrong and Zachary Araujo
