First Games in New Gym

First Game for New Gym to be
Saturday – January 9th
The Bayard boys and girls basketball teams will be playing their
first games in the newly constructed gymnasium on Saturday, January
9, 2010. The girls junior varsity contest against Gordon-Rushville
will begin at 1:00 p.m. This game will be followed by the boys
junior varsity contest, girls varsity and boys varsity games. There
will be no admission charge for these games to encourage as many
persons as possible to attend this event. Entry to the gym should
be made through the new entrance on the west side of the
building.
The district hopes that all patrons will enjoy watching the games
in the facility and will help in maintaining the building for all
to use for many years to come. Your help in placing any trash you
may have in one of the receptacles available in the gym will be
appreciated. We also ask that everyone please stay off of the
playing surface before and after the games. We thank you in advance
for your help and continued support.
While we are able to hold games in the gym, there are some parts of
the project that are not completed at this time. These areas will
be completed in the near future.
