“Hold your horses!” “There’s a frog in my throat, and they fight
like cats and dogs,” are just a few of the many amusing idioms we
have been exploring for Reading. Also, after listening to a few of
Aesop’s fables, we too accepted the challenge and wrote fables of
our own.
Who was Galileo? What is the difference between a full moon and new
moon? Our next Science unit will answer these questions and include
star gazing while locating constellations.
What can you make from marshmallows and toothpicks? Various
geometric shapes and angles such as octagons, cubes, acute and
obtuse angles were constructed with Mrs. Shaw’s and Mrs. John’s
students. We also had a great time eating the extra marshmallows
with our friends.
Please note the following dates for testing:

Since I began with an idiom, I would also like to close with one.
This is one of our favorites, “See you later, alligator! After a
while, crocodile!”
Happy Spring!!!
